I think the biggest problem for Spurs re the Dybala transfer is their wage structure. Pay Dybala, say £250 a week, then your going to have Kane through the door followed by Ali and Erikson (if you want to keep him). Levy will have to pay out and we all know he ain't going to like that...
Yep. If Real were really interested the Marca machine would have been in full swing a while ago. Real players praising him, saying how they’d love to play with him etc.
He wont/wouldn’t be getting that...I honestly think the wage demands were just to get rid of United’s interest and it worked. I think everything at Spurs suits Dybala to the ground...the image rights will be a problem to overcome but not the wage. We’re not getting him so it doesn’t matter.
Kane’s on that wage already, mate. Alli isn’t deserving of it. The only other player in our squad who’d deserve parity with Kane right now is Vertonghen (and Eriksen, but he looks to be off).
I honestly believe his CL final no show scuppered any urgent interest. The boy got no fire in his belly for the biggies.
The spuds are gonna be ****ing unbearable if they get Dybala. Gonna do a @Slurpcock and @Hoddle Is A God after the CL and hide for 2weeks if so.
It got rid of the dinosaurs and allowed a new elite race to flourish? I'm not sure that was the best analogy mate.
The big one for us is getting Lukaku out, he’s damaging his own stock at this point and that’ll come with huge fines for him, my gut feeling is that we will do a deal with Inter for around £65-70m as we just ain’t getting the £80m that Woodward is demanding. There’s no replacement coming in for him, and unless we make a late move for Longstaff I don’t see any more incoming this summer.
