No idea how we could afford Coutinho. We don't do loans and his wages (currently £200k per week) and fee if a permanent move would likely blow what we're looking at for Lo Celso and Fernandes out of the water. In essence for the price of one Coutinho we could sign both of our other primary targets. I personally think this yet another desperate attempt by us to call Betis/Sporting's bluff and get them to fold. Just as Dybala was.
If the coutinho story is true then I’m totally baffled. - his wages would make him our best paid player. I also didn’t think we did loans? Surely there must be an option to buy in that case? This is either another smoke screen in our pursuits of Fernandes/Lo Celso, or total and utter desperation kicking in.
Barca want to sell him so there should be an option to buy. He has worked with Poch before at Espanol.
I think it's bollocks, judging by the fee and the fact that the press are linking him with every English team today, for some reason.
Why do I get thefeeling thst this place is going to resemble a Millwall trip to Leeds in 47 hrs 7 mins?
I can not see it either...will make for s flat atmosphere on Saturday and if we lose a few (very easy, especially with City and Arsenal away before the end of the month) things could get very ugly
I think we are all resigned to it now - Not even sure we will get Sessegnon done - Signing no players last year was bad but at least we hadn't lost anyone this is much worse in my opinion.
