He won’t be eligible to play today , but he may be at the game, no doubt being introduced either before the game or more likely at half time. As Supcon says its not the striker we’ve been waiting for. Seems one heck of a signing though.
    Can’t wait for this afternoon.

Think it will be a loan striker we get.

No, just think that if we are looking to go for promotion like we’ve stated then buying a forward needs to be looked at differently.
Gayle and (to keep RR happy) Assombalonga are proven championship players but neither made in the Prem. So to spend big and we crack it would mean spending big again next season. = Double big purchase.
Loan a Prem forward whose either cracked the Prem or has a big future planned similar to Nketiah or Tammy then we’ve only spent loan fee and then spend big. = one big purchase.
    That’s my thinking anyway.
In regards to Nketiah, if Arsenal buy Everton Soares then the deal may be back on.
Anyway back onto this wonder kid. On OTIB someone hit onto something really clever. Our relationship with Chelsea who would no doubt be interested in this sort of player but can’t due to their embargo. We buy and they have a look and some sort of first refusal.
Sounds strange but we’ve managed to get 3 Chelsea players at decent rates this summer.

Agree with a lot of that RoD, I'm quite surprised we haven't done much with Man C with loans as Pepe did like the way we were setup as a club and the style of football we showed..

If he’s available Nketiah would be ideal , seems like a last minute decision whether to loan him though, our business so far has been pretty good , if this Massengo and also Nketiah deals come off it will take it to another level.

What would happen to Diedhiou if that comes to pass? Transfer or the bench?

Should be on the bench anyway don't think he's good enough if we are looking for promotion,

Could be the most valuable player we've ever had when the time comes when a bigger fish comes along.

That's if we nurture him properly and give him first team exposure from the start.

I can’t imagine him being here long, one good season and off next season for £30m plus, unless we get promoted then add an extra £20m.
