Alimami Gory?............... http://sportwitness.co.uk/player-co...ub-received-offer-championship-side-days-ago/
Who t f? Here he is in all his gory. Sorry couldn't resist that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alimami_Gory The attributes listed by Neil last week seem to fit the bill. Hardly Glenn Murray though.
Wow, colin wanted 3 starters and 3 squad players at the start of the window. We've signed 6 and still going. Well done tan and the board for stepping up to the plate. A good mix of ages as well. Should be with us for a few years whether we go up or not.
Quite a few footballers have come from Mali. Google Mali footballers for a very long list. Some names that spring to mind are Frederic Kanoute, Jimmy Kebe, Mohamed Sissoko (not the one playing for Spurs, he is Moussa) and Djimi Traore (not the Traore who played for us 2 seasons ago, he is Senegalese). There are quite few Cisse's, Coulibalys, Diakites, Diarras, Keitas, Sidibes and Traores. A common theme is that they tend change clubs regularly.
I think we're saving our dosh for a BIG, BIG signing - unfortunately, John Parkin has just retired.......
Just hope someone coming in doesn't depend on someone going out. What do you reckon is going to happen to Tomlin - should we ditch him or retain and give him a shot at it?
I think tomlin has become a distraction. No doubt he has talent and has worked on his fitness, but if colin hasnt worked out how to squeeze him in now, he never will. Selling him would take the option off the table and allow us to focus on 'core business'. A keeper (dont see it happening til january now, with etheridge's injury), tomlin, madine, damour and connolley need to go whether we get another signing or not.
Well Brighton have signed Maupay from Brentford so Murray must be surplus to requirements. Provided he can stay fit he would do a great job for 12 months and Gratzel would learn lot from him. Reports say Arter likely to sign for Fulham but you never know. Despite some misgivings on here I still think he would be great for us in this division. Looks like Bournemouth are getting Harry Wilson on loan to cover for Brooks injury absence so Arter is bound to move on.
Hope Cunningham stays. Anymore defensive performances like last Saturday and other defenders will get their chance.
2 and a bit days to go and with the Gory bid apparently dead in the water, the club backing off Nketiah and Arter likely to go to Fulham there is no one else to hang our hats on. As Remote says the lack of departures is also a cause for concern. This shows a total lack of consideration by the transfers committee. Don't they realise that us supporters need any scraps of information to give us something to speculate on? Come on guys, give us a few names even if totally untrue. At least we can have conversations on the merits of these players and either celebrate if they don't come and we didn't like them or have a sulk if we rate them and they don't come.
Masky says, I firmly believe that our incomings thus far are well below what was expected! It has to be remembered that we were going to go up, collect the monies, and come down rich! Then use the money to amass a squad capable of going back up. We have bought a pile of lower league cast off’s, can you honestly believe that NW is is happy with this lot. NW is not attracting the kind of players that we need, either he is not a manager that they can work with, or it’s his style of play! Rooney could’ve done a job with the offer of a coach position next season...not my favourite player though!
Is this really the standard we're looking at for up front?.............. https://the72.co.uk/141724/cardiff-city-launch-approach-for-birmingham-city-striker/
