I am not sure we can blame this one on Rowland? Didn't we start talking to his Agent in January about a new deal?... If he won't sign a new deal then it is best to get rid of him before Rangers get him for £300,000 next summer... I know that Bow will not get any of the money but it is the principal.

 

The problem is the timing, and the fact that none of the money will go into the team. Even if some of it was used to get Taylor on a longer contract that might help, but It looks unlikely, so we lose him in January with no replacement, as with Grant.

 

In theory, IF players were brought in directly from the money brought in.

 

Annoying. I love Solly, one of my favourite players since the Prem days, but I don't think many will disagree he's sadly probably not Championship standard anymore, and he definitely couldn't play the next 45 games with his knees

 

I think Bowyer is doing Solly a favour keeping him on...the occasional game & a coaching role is presumably the plan.
