Sky reporting that we've opened talks for Sessegnon.

Cheap n cheerful option it is. Makes a lot of sense especially if it helps us shift Onomah & CCV as has been rumoured.

I'll be delighted if he joins, but it'll be a signing to paper over cracks elsewhere in the squad and placate the fans ahead of the disappointment of missing out on Lo Celso and/or Fernandes.

I'm not sure both of your views are mutually exclusive. I am grateful for what ENIC have done (and we shouldn't forget where we were) but would like them to do more now that they have got us into such a good position. It seems such a waste of their work if we go so far without finishing it properly.

Just surprises me that there wasn’t already a list drawn up bearing in mind Foyth isn’t a natural RB, KWP clearly isn’t trusted yet, and Aurier is a liability/always injured.
