Well we're about to sign some 18 year old midfielder from Monaco for £7 million, we've needed a striker for ages now just don't seem to sign any, but a new RB, CDM, AM and striker would be great oh and not playing one upfront at home all the time
You were definitely more threatening when johnson freshened up the side and formation late on. Would it have helped to start like that? Hard to say. We seemed to lose our rhythm after the third goal/subs... not easy to tell cause and effect.

One thing about today, having only three at the back made it easier for the opposition to mark/press us when we tried to play out - I noticed Kiko having to bypass and go longer quite regularly and we looked a bit devoid of ideas at times. Seems like the four gave us more angles to work, but maybe it’s just the players adjusting to a new formation real-time in a game that means something. Small things, and I’m sure Bielsa will be all over it.
I had to work this afternoon/evening so just sat down to read the comments on here. I did manage to watch the end of the first half, from about 5 mins before Pablo's spectacular goal, so wanted to get the opinions on our performance from you guys. We won didn't we? Actually we won easily away from home to a decent side. Bamford scored to get his tally started, Pablo scored a peach, White had a good game, the opposing manager thinks we're the nuts and Phillips ruled the pitch, apparently. What's not to like? IBWT MOT Top of the League! Today is a great day!
Bamford kicked out at the Bristol player and could easily have been sent off. He needs to learn or he will be targeted this season.
