I think that was its peak Series 6 went down hill after that - 'Gunmen of the Apocalypse' remains my favourite episode

 

By complete coincidence, Rob Grant left the show after series six

Personally, though, I think series five was the show at its peak, given that one gave us Quarantine, Back to Reality and The Inquisitor

 

Gunmen of the apocalypse is a great episode but my favourite is probably the one where they are on a planet where there is a war between good and evil waxdroids.

 

I have a sneaking suspicion he’s most likely sat on a yacht right now off the coast of Florida and the Bahamas with Uncle Joe, trying to get more transfer funds signed off.

If not, I’ll be venting my spleen come Thursday if little else happens and suggest perhaps it’s time for ENIC to decide if their project has come to its inevitable conclusion.

If, as I expect, Levy is having to ask for a (to pick a figure out of the air) £50m advance to cover transfer fees due to our summer strategy previously being based on receiving a Eriksen-shaped windfall, I'm going to suggest that showing such willing that he'd jet off across the world to ask face-to-face is a better idea than getting on the blower and asking Lewis for some cash

 

Certain business types much prefer face to face dialogue, especially when it involves a lot of capital. This is not unusual.

Yes I would agree with SUL I travel many miles each year because face to face is still what people prefer when making important business decisions

Not that it’s important but I prefer it running my own. Far easier to close deals when someone’s sat right there in front of you and the pressures on to make a decision.
