My info for what it’s worth is that the villa deal is dead in the water and Phillips is staying unless a dramatic turn of events occurs on transfer day.. this is leeds after all!
Think LJ is right when he says if you play like that every week you'll win the league, the way they pressed and pressed all game, movement around the pitch was class,organised, professional and disciplined both with and without the ball, Phillips in my opinion was the best player on the pitch, class performance all round from Leeds, it was a shame watching us look clueless the whole game but best team won by a mile.
We certainly hope it lasts this year. You guys need a couple of players if you are to squeeze in to that top 6. Problem is that clubs now know you have a bit of cash to spend and little time to do it so you won't be getting any bargains. Would you say you need a centre half and a striker?
