I hate weekends when everyone else is playing and we have to wait until Sunday or in this case Monday for our game! The next best thing to watching your team play is sitting down on the sofa on a Saturday afternoon and watching Soccer Saturday with the scores coming in. Its just not the same though when Town aren't playing because no matter how dramtatic the score lines you just can't get excited. I always have this buzz of excitement or dread (mostly dread!) when I'm not watching Town but following the score on Soccer Saturday!

So another god awful boring Saturday awaits! Yipee thank you bleeding SKY!

I agree it's not as exciting. Although fantasy football, a few one pound accumulators and a pot of tea can make it a pleasurable afternoon.

I remember Fred Elliot in Corrie always used to ask for a 'Scotch and threat' - what the hell is that?

You'd want to rape the wife BEFORE you burnt the house down, it'd get too bloody hot otherwise ;)
