Good performance throughout. We made it really difficult for a top team to play and should have won easily. Their GK was their MotM with excellent positioning throughout. Our expectations of Pukki are very high, but he had that two game layoff. Agree that most of his shots were on target but just lacked that special sharpness. He's working hard to make the chances but just needs to put one or two away to get going again. Our pressing was very good and unsettled their players while we passed up the pitch effortlessly most of the time. Cantwell and Buendia were both electric in their passing and movement and Hernandez and Roberts were good as well when they came on, as was Drmic, whose movement and flicks, including a very clever backheel, created threats up front. Agree with GM that Hanley had another good game and he's obviously been working on playing out from the back. I'd also be happy for him to start at Anfield. Godfrey was immense and just gets better and better. Krul looked the sharper of the two keepers to me.
Meanwhile, Adam Idah scored a hat-trick for the U23s against the Dordrecht first team: https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/watch-idah-hat-trick-city-u23s-1-6198029 DF has another choice to make.

Playing against better quality defending and better quality keepers, putting the ball in the net isn't going to be as easy as last season. The margins of error will be smaller. Last season, particularly before Christmas, the number of goals we scored consistently exceeded our expected goals. Even if we continue to create the same number of chances of a similar quality to last season, we can't expect to see the same conversion rate.
That's certainly true Robbie, but Teemu seems fairly relaxed about it: "I've improved 100pc as a player here. I wasn't lazy before but the style of playing here has really made me work for the team more. I love being a striker in this team. The success here is down to the fact we're a family. There are no egos, everybody gets on and it's the best dressing room I've ever played in. We are so close and it's nice to be part of. When I was a little boy, my dream was to play in Spanish football, which I've done, and then it was the Premier League, so it's all worked out okay." That's what makes me feel we'll do all right. https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/canaries-teemu-pukki-liverpool-thoughts-1-6198206
