Great article by DDF on TC - https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/david-freezer-canaries-column-todd-cantwell-1-6195723
I've long felt that Cantwell would thrive as the AM behind the striker and he certainly showed that on Tuesday, where he was our MotM IMO. There's a resemblance to Madders when he first broke into the first team and he must have learned a lot from Wes as well, given his choice of number. Hopefully he can push on now and go from strength to strength!
Saw the Sky preview of Scotland’s opening day and they focussed on Hearts. Commentator pointed to no 22 shirt in the dressing room with Naismith on it - ‘ Hearts fans would be pleased to see this. Of course he will be focusing on regaining his place in the Scotland squad. I have not been in such hysterics for many a moon!
Never mind hysterics, when I think how much money the greedy, selfish b@stard bled from NCFC it makes me tremble with rage If, as reported, his missus disliked it here so much, he could easily have done a Ben Marshall and asked for his contract to be cancelled. T0sser. Little wonder Webber has radically changed the club's approach to transfers after that saga!!
I got mine with all the bells and whistles on with DAVE 29 on the back and it didn't cost as much as the one I bought a few years ago for £73
This is a difficult one really. Srbeny is playing more as a second striker/AM so far, so injuries up front could be a threat. We have 3 DMs in Trybull, Tettey and Thompson, it's just that two are currently injured. We could sign another and let Thompson go out on loan, but it's down to DF really whether that's necessary or not. I trust him and SW to get this one right. Edit: This may have been further complicated by Adam Idah scoring a hat-trick for the U23s against the Dordrecht first team in the Netherlands. https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/watch-idah-hat-trick-city-u23s-1-6198029
Yeah I agree. I know people want us to sign another DM, but I think Trybull should be given the opportunity first because I see a lot of quality there and if he can step up then we won’t have needed to spend a penny A risk, yes, but no more than spending £mm on a DM who it then turns out we don’t need...
I think Trybull and McLean will start in midfield at Anfield as they are better defensively. I'd also like to see a back three in a 3-4-3 as our threat will be mainly on the counter and that would free Max and Jamal as WBs to support the attack.
True, but the guy must be a complete cretin. And a Times sports journo, to boot! If only he'd had a quick peek at Wikipedia....
