he's gone. every million we get, the douche stays 2 months if his half a mill a month losses are true. the club isnt for sale. every player is.
Middlesbrough have tabled a 3rd bid for Djiksteel. It will be interesting to see if he starts at Blackburn today. My wild hunch is that he will be sold ...”we couldn’t stand in the boy’s way” ..and that a cheap replacement will be drafted in. I would imagine Gallen is scrambling behind the scenes.
A very tidy performance at right back yesterday from Djiksteel, against a Blackburn winger who had a few tricks. No doubt the watching scouts will have noted ... AD is improving in this position by the game. Sadly the same cannot be said of our other full back yesterday, who had something of a one man horror show. I would be surprised if we ever saw the Nabster play left back in the Championship again. He isn’t quick enough or composed enough on the ball to get away with it. In terms of cack handed incompetence, Naby’s performance yesterday was like watching Elf’s locked in a changing room full of Page 3 girls.,
Poor old Naby embarrassed us at Wembley too with his cringeworthy own-goal. (though I'll admit Phillips was partly to blame as well for that). Fortunately it did not cost us. Perhaps the Championship is now too difficult for a player who had potential once but is not what he used to be.
To be fair, Lockyer has Lapslie in front of him to cover, Pearce had Pratley to help out.... the Nabster was relying on JFC to help him on the left which is not in JFC's locker.
Fair point. But I did just have another look at the OG video clip - Charlton were bringing the ball out from the back, no pressure on Sarr whatsoever. He looked forward, didn't see any options he liked and then, without really looking at where Phillips was, he just turned on his heel and punted the ball back towards the goal. Poor old Dillon was startled to say the least. Bad lapse of concentration by Naby when all his senses should have been sharpened by the occasion.
bit harsh Lardi …. even Dills agrees that the OG at Wembley was his error …. it was a standard backpass, not too heavy.
Well it's all in the past now. Lee Bowyer will do the right thing regarding Naby (and Dillon) this season
