    His performances haven't been disguised by goals at all. He's not been brilliant, but apart from the QPR game his performances at fullback have been good enough, and certainly better than Simmo's.

    Simmo deserves to be subbed before Raylor.

    Raylor costs us attacking options as Jonas has to cover him for vast swathes of the game. Whilst Raylor hasn't been awful; apart from his goals he's still the main liability in the defensive set up.

    Simmo isn't the greatest but his performances are at least consistent and doesn't require as much 'babysitting' as Raylor.

    Raylor has had so much protection from Jonas. He constantly is square on in one on one situations and even turns his back to opponent when they are running at him whilst changing directions, which is TERRIBLE for a full-back to do. His positional sense is very poor which leads to a big space between him and Colo. I want Ferguson to play against Villa.

    Funny thing is, the fact Raylor started v QPR when Santon was available was different. In this instance he wasnt "the only option", he was picked on merit and therefore Jonas tried to play his own game and Raylor got slaughtered by SWP. That's what it would be like if he played all the time.

    This. I'd like to see Santon at LB when fit, with Raylor on the bench as back-up FB, Winger, and to bring on if we have a free-kick with less than 10 mins left.
