Not long now , I ordered my days off for this trip around the work schedule and gave myself 4 days grace! This aircraft now has slipped 4 days an incentive to work a long weekend so I can go to the do ! Nothing is going to stop me getting to southampton for this meet up!

Day 5 of 10 day schedule for the aircraft we are meant to be working and its still flying around this afternoon !!
Really going to have to go some to try and catch up a little!

Thought earlier of a chant: use the Rookery End chant replacing "we're the Watford Rookery" with "we're the Hornet's Nest on tour". What does anyone else think?

 

i like it! We'll have to be loud, there's only 6 of us! lol...but i've had to wait til Monday to book the tickets coz my footie buddy might be coming too but wasn't sure on Friday...so maybe there'll be more of us!

 

Hello all. I was looking forward to meeting you all but I have a problem

Last week I lost one of my front teeth. Very careless I know. Can't be rebuilt for 4 weeks. Can't say I was good looking but now darn right scarry. I was really looking forward to meeting you all but as I can no longer say 'Sordell' without whistling and god knows what I will do with 'Forsyth'.

Not wanting to scare anyone I thought there will be another time.

Then my Spanish wife said that she would go, I think she feels sorry for me. Well I reckon if she sees the 'orns just once in her life that will have to go down as one of my greatest triumphs. She is the least competitive person I have ever met.

She also comes from Seville (hottest city in Europe some say) but can't stand the heat. When I told her there was a 'orn living in Norway turning up she took more interest. She has always said the climate there would be perfect for her.

So is there still time? How do you get tickets? Is there a reduction for toothless wonders? Looks nothing like me
