I don't think that Stephen would've made the squad anyway, as there's already two right-backs in it: Odoi and Christie. Le Marchand was replaced by the latter after 32 minutes though and I assume that Odoi moved to centre-half. If it was forced by an injury, then it could see them using their 3rd choice more often, if we buy him and loan him back.
Shhh, I'm trying to build a Narrative counter to those of The Usual Suspects - the latter best exemplified by Sky Sports acting as if (Ryan) Sessegnon injured his hamstring in the warmup for the Barnsley game
If Wanyamas' legs are gone, no way would you expect : 1. Him to pass a medical 2. Bournemouth to pay that amount if he fails We shall see if this is more than hack gossip.
Elsewhere, Victor Wanyama's being linked to West Brom. Hopefully he can pass a medical and make it elsewhere. Watching him struggle to reach an appropriate standard with us is difficult, given the player he was a couple of seasons ago.
Whatever he does now, we do not want him to become a cripple in later years because he played on for some ulterior motive (the claim that he will get UK residency - how many more seasons playing in the UK does he have to do etc) .
it was more a dig at Bournemouth considering how much they have paid for some of our deadwood in recent years Ibe - £15m Solanke - 16m Brad Smith - £6m
Huge pinch of salt as ‘The Goat’ on SC only ever seems credible with contract info but they’re claiming Sess is done with Onomah part of the deal.
I understand that he qualifies already, which leaves it up to him... https://tbrfootball.com/tottenham-hotspur-star-victor-wanyama-may-have-to-move-abroad-as-report-claims-limited-interest/ If that was the prognosis, I'm sure that the club would come to an appropriate settlement rather than try and sell him on.
And to add, seeing as Onomah was in attendance at a Fulham pre-season game the other day, this does seem plausible.
Words fail me. Was doing a THFC search on Twitter and this popped up. $7 a month to basically listen to a bunch of guys talk about Spurs stuff like transfers, matches, players, staff etc. Basically what every Spurs fan does when with their mates (or on here!). Saddest thing is, people will actually sign up for it.
This lot are wholly responsible for the BackPoch hashtag Chris Cowlin's the only one worth listening to of the bunch
I even find Cowlin cringy. The only the Spurs account I follow outside of the club’s official one is Hotspur Related. The guy behind that was the original for gathering all the Spurs news and he does a really good job. He doesn’t seem to push any of his agenda’s on to fans either, unlike a certain ball’Sacks’.
Rumours that Betis have now actually lowered their valuation of GLC from around €70m to €60m, which is pretty much what we paid for Tanguy. Scotty Parker has now also said he’s unsure whether Sess will stay, after not so long ago expecting him to remain a Fulham player. And the left field one has returned, Poch is supposedly trying to convince Dybala to choose us over Utd.
If we got those three in and sold Eriksen then that would be considered a good window surely? Ideally sign all three and keep Eriksen but I can’t see that happening
