Seen a few say £85m but most say £80m, thought I'd take the more conservative approach since it still looks ridiculous
That goal was like the beachball one Total freak Cannot see it happening again, very unfortunate, funny but unfortunate
Maguire is a great improvement on what Utd have at the back. Not because he is a world class player, but because Utd's defence has been rubbish for the past couple of seasons. Young, Smalling, Jones for example. Bailly looked good in Europe but has not done much at Utd, although I accept he has had a lot of injuries.
TBF, we could be bringing Messi, C.Ronaldo and a in his prime Maradona on (as a triple change) and @jaffaklopp would be all doom and gloom still!
You can only keep improving your side and that is what they have done. The irony here is Jose said they needed reinforcements at the back and they didn't listen to him. Now i am not saying he would have gone but you have to imagine vvd was on his radar If they had offered 80mil who knows ? Utd are wgere we were not so long ago only they have not been in the also rans places that long. With the right buys they will be right back in it. I think it all hinges on how good ole is, atm no one has any real idea Cant count the start when he came in, new anager bounce, cant count end as season just fizzled out Should be interesting
Personally I'd like to see them in obscurity for as long as possible. I think man utd are buying good players (they can't attract world class atm) and then they will build from there. A bit like we did over the last few years.
If you're talking about the Origi goal how can you as a fan of the team that benefitted call it unfortunate? It was exactly the opposite

Thing is, if you're MU and you have been having problems in defence ( despite spending **** loads in recent years ) and you have £80m to spend, you would expect them to be making offers to some of the best defenders around. I don't see Maguire in this category.
For a team like Leicester that play very defensively with players behind the ball. I personally think he'll get found out big time playing for an attacking team as he lacks pace... not just a little bit, he's slow as ****. He'll need a very quick partner or it will end in tears.
