Mate this thread drives you to it, I hired a professional chef once to get one over on all these ****ers criticising my food. He left in tears after reading the comments.

My best mate at work is a Jock and used to be a chef, we get on really well. Whenever i cook to much i always put in a tub and take it to work for him, Well today he gave me a massive suprise, when he said 've brought something in for you'..thought it might be a few cans, but no. I got given a briefcase full of fancy German knives similar to that but I can't use them, they are too thick and heavy and crazy sharp.
This is one of the set I got given, I googled a while back and they were worth loads but I used the cheap ones more as I can't use the ****ing thing. I think it's all down to the weight and ability to use them as they are really heavy.
Can you still get knives sharpened anywhere? they are worth to much for me to attempt...Although some are unused, but i've always wanted a top notch filleting knife....
