What did we all think about one of the greatest young talents in the world? I thought he was pretty awesome in the first half. Can find any sort of pass it seems at will. Can dribble and pass which is a bit Iniesta like. Compared to Jack he seems to be more creative in the final 3rd. But Jack is more of a all round player. Would be a dream for me to see those two in the same team for us. Perfect combo. By all reports we did bid for him in the final days of this years transfer window. Would you be happy if the club went and spent £35 Million plus on a 19 year old kid?
Not sure him and Jack would be that good a combo. Rambo and Jack or Rambo and Gotze is a better combo style wise.
Jack can play deeper and set the tempo while Gotze can play in the role Cesc used to. The guy is very creative so you want him as close to the goal as possible.
He's brilliant. Not necessarily better than Wilshere (who's also a World Class talent) but he's more of an out and out attacker. Gets alot of assists and will start to add more goals to his game. Top players can always work together. Wilshere had no problem playing alongside Nasri or Fabregas neither are any more powerful/physical than Goetze. The little German can look after himself. I think he would be the signing that would secure 4th for you! I would argue you are on the cusp of 4th spot anyway but he would certainly help you out.
No chance. By on the cusp I mean Liverpool seemed to have taken it off you but you did well on deadline day to counteract that!
Didn't watch the game but a mate I work with said he was ****ting himself every time Gotze had the ball, I reckon if someone snaps him up at this tender age then he'll be a success in the PL, I'm sure Arsene would make something of him.
Gotze looks like the real deal. Trouble is now though, he is well and truly on the radar of the big clubs. I don't think Dortmund would sell for less than £30m. Would be a great acquisition for Arsenal if we could get him though, I think he'd suit our style brilliantly
I think the next few months with Miyaichi, Park and Oxo playing will give us a better idea of who we need in January. Who knows what heights our current players could reach? A spark or two may be all that is needed to unlock the talent and allow us to leave Chelsea and Pool to slug it out for 4th place while we consolidate 3rd and go after the boys from Manchester, although it must be said, not all of them are from Manchester
