I think he was 3-1 the last time I looked. Sacking a manager is never nice, but sometimes it has to be done. If Blackburn stick with Steve Kean they will go down, if we get thumped off Stoke and we stick with Bruce we are in danger of following them.
I completely agree with Gardner. Although I will probably be chastised on here he makes a very good point that we have made excellent signings. I think 90%+ of us on here were raving about our dealings in the summer and were excited going into the 1st game. Yes Gyan has gone but Bendtner has come in. The only thing going against us at the minute is that its such a massive overhaul of the side it is going to take a little time. I have great confidence that we have players who can influence a game and start picking up wins in the coming weeks! Yes you could blame our policy of signing so many loan players last year, or moving players on too frequently but I genuinely think this group of players will come good. I am not claiming to have a top 6 side, but another comfortable season would be just fine for me, squeezing into that top half would be ideal! I know Quinn had a 5 year plan but cant we be content with building slowly and gradually getting there. This is year 5 in the Prem, something that has never happened in my lifetime yet people still are unhappy. I am happy to hold my hands up if it does go down the pan like you all seem to think it will but I am keeping my faith and think we will see an improvement throughout the season!

Who continually have one of the biggest attendances in the country. We are amongst the best fans in the country, we go to the games and get behind the team. The definition of good fans is not always thinking everything in the garden is always rosy. I've missed 4 home games in my time following Sunderland and follow goings-on on a daily basis, I know when things aren't right.
Im sorry lads, but I have to agree with Craig on this one. I mean beyond the Mags match, we havent been THAT bad this season. Even then we were the better team but lacked a cutting edge. - Hes trying to inject positivity - We need that now, we need to give Bendtner confidence and hope that Sess can lead the team back to where we should be. We are FAR too negative (me included) and I think we have made some pretty bad errors this transfer window (we all know what they are) and yes that RIGHTFULLY puts Bruce under scrutiny - but lets give him a few more games (say 5) before we start calling for his head. If bendtner scores a tonne of goals, we win the next 5 and are in the top 6 how stupid will we look haha! (Ok i can appreciate that this is looking unlikely!) Lets galvanize lads! Pray that Ji can come good and that the lads start believing in themselves again!

Bruce in, I think his tactical awareness is utterly brilliant. He will have us a load of trophies by the end of the new year. God forbid me for having an opinion. Im not looking for a scrap either and i can also understand your frustrations i am 56 and have gone since i was 10 years old. Yes im frustrated and this is a big season for Bruce if we are in the bottom 3 in Jan then Ill be shouting Bruce out with everyone else but ill at least hold judgement on the new players untill after 10 games.
