    It's irrational given how statistically safe it is compared to other modes of transport. But there is no type of accident in any other mode of transport where you go hurtling to your death from thousands of feet up in the sky at stupid miles per hour with 0 chance of survival. Just not a fan of heights personally; I have no issue with the plane itself but the falling part is a big no thanks.

    My fear of flying came from the deathtrap plane I got to Poland once. I should've known that flying with a budget Hungarian airline would have it's negatives.

    I also have this problem. Being scared of heights, I don't like the idea that on the other side of the plane window, there is absolutely **** all for about 35,000 feet.

    It made a lot of funny noises, clanks and bangs and shudders, and sometimes it just went completely silent as if the engine had cut out and it felt like we were gliding. The whole plane itself looked like it was dropping to bits and I'm pretty sure it was older than me. It was really struggling along. I've never felt comfortable in a plane since.
