Swansea refused permission to sign him, saves us some hassle then but maybe able to go for him in future.
I heard this too about Situ. I think they still have the option of an appeal but are awaiting official confirmation from FIFA. I'm still at a loss to explain why we didn't try and sign him. We blatantly need an additional centre back. Better they're a youngster who won't expect to play all the time. Maybe he did? Supposedly him and Remy were very impressive in the game they played.
Perhaps this is one reason why we didn't sign him even though it seemed that negotiations were at an advanced stage.
