I thought he might have hurt himself when he hit the post, but he appeared to get through the rest of the game ok.
    Real shame.

I saw him clatter the post at the weekend, I was pleased to see him get up and carry on, so thats a shame its blown up after the game. He is doing well so far, with Swansea having a few clean sheets...despite not scoring!

Says it's his cartilage too PNP... Why does Ledley's name spring to mind as soon as I hear that word! Let's hope he can make a swift recovery.

Yeah I agree Notso, hasn't looked out of place from what I've seen. Been caught out of position once or twice but for a 19 year old centre back playing in arguably the best league in the World he's performed admirably. Definitely has a future at the club.

Yeah, it's probably a word that worries our fans more than anyone else's, unfortunately.
Let's hope that it's not too bad and that the 8 weeks is more precautionary than anything.

I don't think he'll suffer as Ledley has, SC doesn't have bow legs for a start! <laugh>...couldn't stop a dog running at him in an alley! Hopefully abit of keyhole will sort it. My lad had cartilage debris removed by that procedure and was back playing in 6wks.

I read somewhere that Gallas might be back in time for the Wigan game,so that would be a big plus.

the defender will return to parent club Tottenham to have his knee injury assessed by the club's medical staff.

That deoesn't sound good, does it?
Let's hope that it's just a precaution and that our medical staff are a little over-anxious about ligament damage, due to King.
