    possibly matt when I was a kid living in London Saturday was pie and mash day, Sunday was roast day with sea food at tea time with bread and dripping (wow those were the days) <ok>

    This will explain things better than I can elland, there is a lot of rivalry as to where you can find the best pie &mash but basically its a simple dish too prepare and I don't ever recall being disappointed with what I've had.
    The jellied eels came before the pie with the juices of the eels used to make the liquor that accompanies it.
    Personally I've never liked jellied eels but obviously love pie 'n mash with liquor, I always felt those they say they love jellied eels are just saying so too keep the tradition going, a bit like those that eat the hottest chilli's and curries, a sort of endurance test that gives them a sense of euphoria when they complete the task.

    It's not liquor, it's actually spelled "lick 'er".

    Basically some cockneys lick the eels clean and spit into a bucket that's used as a base for an eel sauce. <whistle>

    Its alright for you lot back in britain. Im sat in a hot sweaty airport on kefalonia. The partys over its time to call it a day. <wah> the goods news is she woke up in a **** mood and said she is not going with me again. She is to get on with her own life she snapped.
    Then she must have realised the fact its my car we are going home in and its at manchester :smiley-finger007:so she shut the feck up.

    Thank you Matt from pointing out I was on the wrong page however my point is this we will sell Phillips and perhaps Roofe before the deadline date but too late to spend any money how many times have we heard this!
    This nonense about offering £13m for a strker some other club must have offered 15m
