Unbroken was alright, nothing you ain't seen before kinda pow war movie. Doubt I'll watch again it dragged in places for too long. Rating; meh 6.1/10
I had a Rutger Hauer weekend last weekend. Started with Blade Runner on Thursday night, followed with Escape From Sobibor on Friday night and finished with the Hitcher on Friday night. Top man. RIP.
I did enjoy it I just thought towards the end it became predictable, could have had more to it, too many part dragged like being stranded at sea, then the camps. Nothing happened really. Then it ended.
Spotlight is true story about Priests doing their thing and a paper exposing it. The 12th Man is a WW2 thing.
Yeah I was going to say the poor ****er but it didn't make a great film tbh. Hacksaw ridge was better imho. As a personal war story type film anyway. I've been meaning to watch that 12th man for weeks. I'll give the other one a miss, not into depressing films tbh and hate seeing rape child abuse on film screens even though sometimes it's needed. Why I stopped watching that 4 part thing with the Scouse actor in it. Too morbid as good as everyone's says it is just not for me.
I started watching Arrival on Film4 last night. Had to record the second half and I haven't seen it yet but an interesting take on the alien visitation thing. Independence Day it ain't.
That's my favorite alien invasion type movie. Really thought provoking. Wicked film tbh.. Try interstellar if you like that
