    Sort of like Kloppsucker is doing with their continued justification of the Mouser Watch thread...

    El Transistor are reporting that we are negotiating with Betis once more, with Betis apparently willing to accept a €65m fee

    Here's how that fee breaks down in Levyese
    * We'd be paying €65m instead of the widely-quoted fee of €75m
    * ...which means we'd be paying £59m instead of £68m
    * Our opening bid was £45m/€49 while Betis' initial price was £80m/€87m, so as a fee €65m is a good face-saving exercise, as we can say we negotiated Betis down by £21m/€22m, while Betis can argue they negotiated us up by £14m/€16m
    * Somebody should really congratulate Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage for effectively entering the UK in to the Euro based on the exchange rate for those fees...

    It's being rumoured that Brentford decided against making an offer for Marcus Edwards, which may be related to us putting a £4m pricetag on him

    A few more sources are saying that a deal is being reached, with El Desmarque and El Correo both reporting a €65m fee with €10m in bonuses

    It's the hope that kills you...

    Newcastle reportedly made an offer, but expected him to take a £10k a week pay cut, so unsurprisingly the talks stopped dead

    Why would he even consider that offer? Ludicrous. Might give his ego a kick up the arse, though.

    Who is the other bloke in the photo? His PE teacher at school? His maths tutor? Driving instructor? Or a coach at Betis?

    The game is afoot.

    I think even the media are viewing Spurs in a different light since we made the CL Final. It has finally dawned on them that we are a force with an amazing stadium. It has taken them about 5 years but I think they have may have finally caught up with reality. Well almost they still think United will be back soon. It will be interesting to see the usual hacks predictions for top 6 in order.

    They're in the Dutch second tier, if anyone was curious

    They're also the club Thicc Vinn began his professional career at, for the Googly inclined

    Almere City are managed by Robert Molenaar, who was signed for Leeds by George Graham and then played for Bradford later on.
    Their stadium has a capacity of 3,200. That's about half that of The Hive, where our ladies will be playing next season.
