Having had Sichuan for lunch yesterday, I am finding it difficult to find the appeal of the Chinese right now...
For a single deal I would agree with you but we will need to sign many players in the future. Giving in to sharp practice isn't a good tactic.
Way to ruin everyone's weekend... And week.. And ****ing year. Jeez, as if I needed to be reminded of that useless ****er.
One of the twitter accounts that follows our youth claims Shay Harrison turned down our one year contract extension and has now left the club. G'luck to him, always thought he looked talented as a youngster but never seemed to be able to do well on loan nor seemingly force his way into the squad barring that Liverpool cameo in the cup.
It was reported that we told him to look for a new club late last season, so the real surprise was we offered him a contract as I doubt we'd have found many buyers for a 22-year old with only half a season in the A-League on his CV
If only he'd scored that golden opportunity in that Liverpool cameo, things could've panned out very differently for him. Same with Janssen, against Everton on his debut he had a point-blank range shot saved and then the following week vs Palace he hit just millimetres wide, either of those go in and he could've had a decent spell with us.
Ligue 1 Rando Watch TeamTalk (no, wait, come back...) report that we're looking to sign another Lyon player, namely Bertrand Traore On the one hand this makes little sense, considering last season he gradually lost his starting place to Maxwell Cornet, and on top of that the two main responses is either to dread another N'Jie/Nkoudou joining the squad or to remember he hardly made a dent at Chelsea However, that last part is the crucial one and may be behind the rumour, as thanks to his time at Chelsea he qualifies as HG and that would ease the squad comp for a season or two In other news... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Before anyone asks, no, he isn't the same Oluwayemi who seemed to save a penalty every game for our U18s last season, that's his older brother Joshua I'll admit that I realised this somewhere between the phrases "What the..." and "...absolute ****?"
There's talk that we'll step up Lo Celso negotiations this week, which makes sense seeing as he's due to return from holiday anytime soon, we signed Ndombele about 2-3 days after he returned from Morocco and so I guess we're looking to do similar with the Argy. Equally, I think we'll do the same with Sessegnon now that he's returned from holiday and recovered from his injury. Said it already but I do fancy this week to be a busy week, not just for Spurs, the market in general.
He's back in Seville today and due to report for training tomorrow morning. Let's hope Levy kidnaps him en route to wherever Betis train.
He'll just send a delegation of Lamela, Foyth and Gazza to thrash out terms of the deal and get it done. No one will be able to resist Gazza's charm.
