I took my son and his mate to the nets today. I normally just spectate and criticise (coaching) but I had a bowl today. My line and length was pretty much spot on and I can still get some outswing but ****ing hell was it hard work. Getting old and hot weather is a **** combination.

Just back from Cornwall. The beaches of Porthcurno, Trevone and Carbis Bay are as good as anything i've seen on the continent. Padstow and Fowey were great too. If we also had the weather to match the continent i'd take far more holidays there.

Pretty cool over here at the moment too for this time of year. Mid thirties and only moderate humidity. Feels pretty good.
