    I’m worried - period
However plus side my predictions look good now

I will really worry when Norwich take points off us.

We have not had Alison in goal and are missing the front three. Lt's see how we do against Norwich, not bothered about the Charity Shield.

That was poor, the youngsters should have come on earlier as some of the senior pros were terrible today. The attitude was not right.

Origi is simply not a very good footballer. I hope we start with Brewster Vs Norwich.

It's always difficult to judge preseason, you've always got to factor in exactly how arsed the players are, plus no one wants to get injured 2 weeks before the season starts.

In saying that, much like our transfer activity, little niggling worries are starting to grow.

Indeed, but a team can get in a habit of losing and performing poorly. I've seen poor pre-season lead into poor early seasons many times.

A poor preseason doesn't mean a poor season, but it's certainly not a good sign.

I agree, playing well, putting the effort and winning are much easier when your already playing well, putting the effort in and winning.

It's very difficult to just throw a switch and suddenly get your best levels.

    Ah never :)

I do understand what everyone is saying about it but to me it’s how we look
We looked like this in CL early on in away games so hoping we can turn it around
    But will see :)

Klopps confident that we’ll be ready for start of season so let’s have faith. He hasn’t let us doen yet. We all thought we needed a new midfield last year and he got the best out of the current crop.

Hes speaking highly of elliott so may get some game time in cups along with having ox Keita and lallana hopefully fit for season gives us more depth.

Brewster could be a nice unknown. We saw what rashford did when given chsnce for United, who knows if Brewster could have similarities impact.

Tbf this is close to our cup side
Probably a few more youngsters Tbh
But it does show we as yet don’t have the depth
It will all depend how the inevitable injuries hit us. If we are rotating and playing say (without going into technicalities) Brewster with Salah and mane and resting firmino then it may not be so bad. We are missing 4 of what would be deemed our first 11
Which is quite a big chunk
Would be happier at a better defensive display in the pre season but hey ho

I'll worry if we're still bad when the serious stuff starts.

I'm sure it'll be fine and I agree on Brewster, he'll be above Origi in the pecking order within a month. Origi will always have that special status because of what he did last season but he's simply not very good and it's a worry that he will get game time this coming season.

Not if he continues to do what he did last season.

I certainly hope that's the case. Watching him yesterday makes me doubt it though.
