Just a thought Strovolos but on the flip side of your comments, does it mean that every player Fergie has released are all superb world beaters? If so Man U's squad would be HUGE.

Also ask yourself why is'nt Corey Evans a main stay in the City side? Make your own conclusions from the answer from what you will.

I dont come on here to make habit of been negative towards our players but I will make comments good or bad based on my experiences and knowledge of OUR club. I believe I can identify a poor player, a player that can improve and a great player within about 10 games, but once more, these are my opinions most of which end up been right.

I would also like to ask you whether or not Alex Ferguson has ever made a bad signging and if so, what has he done with those that do not make the grade at Man U. Does he always go out of his way to make sure they dont end up clubless?

I prefer to talk realistically in terms of Hull City instead of thinking that every player we have at the club are better than any other. I would rather talk sense than spout extravagant complex words of which most on here if they were honest with themselves I am sure do not understand (CRASS). People like yourself often try to make people believe you know what your talking about by using big or posh words that you have 'Googled' just to get your point across to appear more superior or intelligent than others which quite frankly is not the case. I suggest we should beg to differ on this one and I would ask you not to be so Gun-Ho or rash in your responses in the future. In the Tigers We Support !!!

I'd like to know too but Strovolos has omitted to respond to the same question I raised.

If he's a mate of yours, let him know he is highly rated amongst us City fans. Top draw and he will keep improving. Just needs to improve a little better in the air and maybe notch a few goals from corners or set pieces. For me he's one of our better players. Gives nothing short of 100% every game.

When he was at United I always thought he would be too small to make it as a centre back. I think he's about 6ft. I know he's a top player and I reckon his level is a mid table Premier League side. He's very good on the ball though.

Everytime he comes home when the lads have a kick about (he doesn't over do it don't worry) he stands out by a mile. He just looks pure class on the ball.

He's got a decent future ahead of him.

Lets hope he can play in the Prem with us one day. I am sure he will go from strength to strength. One of my other biggest positives about Chester, is that he is quite versatile and is happy to play where ever the Boss chooses to play him without any moaning he just gets on with the job at hand and above all else, I have never seen him have 1 bad game, he is just so consistent.

Pass on my praise to him when you see him next.

Good to hear from you MUFCOK

I wouldn't be surprised if Chester ended up winning player of the season.

That's unless his mate Cameron comes back and steals the show.

You might be right there OLM, I reckon it will be between Cairney & Chester.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cairney was dropped for Saturday, he was very poor at Peterborough, we might see McKenna/Evans.

You may well be right after Saturday's performance but every player is entitled to the odd poor game throughout the season. He's still a contender for me.

Evans does not retain the ball or even distrubute it anywhere near as good as Cairney and does not take corners/free kicks etc so he is far less impactive but you could be right on Cairney taking a seat on the bench to start with on Saturday, although I hope not, we look far too narrow when Cairney is not playing.

I thought he would make it to be honest. He made a steady rise to captain the reserves and won our reserve of the year that season, made his debut in the Carling Cup the year after and I thought he might make his way in. But then we signed Smalling and Evans had a good season so I thought that was the end for him.

It was like Wes Brown. Has always been a great defender but he has just been unlucky that players like Ferdinand, Vidic, Silvestre and Stam were in the side. Like I said though he'll be in the Premier League in a couple of years definitely I think whether it's with Hull or some other side.

I would be greatly disappointed if TC is dropped after, in your opinion, one poor game. Ambernectar said he played well in their report. Mckenna has been indifferent apart from the last two games yet no mention of dropping him.

Our management did brilliantly to get a player like that in, also Cameron Stewart who has bags of potential. Dudgeon and Evans have had slower starts though.

Cairney and Koren were the worst two players on the pitch on Saturday, I think that's pretty much the opinion of everyone who was at the game(McKenna was actually good on Saturday, in fact, I believe NP called it a MotM performance). It's not that single poor performance that makes me think he might be dropped, it's the fact that with McKenna and Cairney in the middle, we often look quite pedestrian. Brady is not using his pace to work things on the wing, he keeps trying fancy stuff to bring the ball into the box and Koren isn't a winger and always cuts inside. If our wingers aren't going to play like wingers, then we need someone moving things forward from the middle of the park and I think we might try Evans or Koren(despite him looking a waste of space in the first half, he did look better in the second half when he moved inside and Cairney was moved out wide).
