I think that is fair. He would have lost much more, even with the slow pit stop, had he gone round for another lap without his front wing. It was such a clear breach of the rules they couldn't really not give hima penalty.

Much as I now like Lewis I do feel he has had luck previously with penalties so to be given a couple for definite rule breaks is fair enough.

 

Merc need Bottas to let Lewis past and back off giving him 5 maybe 10 seconds so he retains second. Bottas can't say no as he wants a contract extension, well unless he already knows he's out!!!

 

Top 3 to pull away, then one of the dossers at the back to put it in the wall with a lap to go, bringing out a safety car, Hulkenburg gets a podium because of Hamilton's penalty...

That was probably Hulkenburg's best change of a podium and he's thrown it away

Given the pace difference of these cars thats about 2 laps of clear running
