After a fierce battle, Ginola pipped Robert to the position of left wing.

Gone for Nobby, though wouldn't be surprised if Lee wins and people vote for Barton.

I voted Nobby. Based off the fact that this poll is favourite players, it has to be really!

Is it favourite? Or best? Or both, perhaps

This will be embarrassing, I can't see anyone other than Nobby getting a single vote. Rob Lee will win the CM vote tho <ok>

Is Beardsley being counted as a forward? I know that he played both positions, but surely his time as a right mid merits a place in this poll?

I think you'll see him as Lee's midfield partner or Shearer's strike partner <ok>

If Rob Lee and Beardsley get the CM spots then where does that leave Jamie McClen <laugh>

It seems people's favorite is also the best, really though people would have voted for Lee.

Does Hugo Viana count as a centre mid? I couldn't see him on the left mid one!

On his day I reckon Gillespie was the best 'out and out' winger, however Nobby was a far more consistent performer and therefore gets my vote.

That said, with me being and I quote " an old git " , Jackie Sinclair would have them both a run for their money, as would Stuart Barraclough and Tony Green when he played out wide. Actually 'Wor Jackie' was extremely quick and also effective when he played on the wing, I also would think that Len White would have more than held his own in the modern game as would.....blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Ahhhh....the memories, now where were we? Ah yes Nobby.
