Evening troops. Cagliari look like a level above what we'd expect week to week, as demonstrated by the fact that we're not dominating possession, and good goal. Some evidence of Costa learning our game in misplaced passes etc. I like the cut of White's jib though. Bamford getting out-thought and out-muscled by the big lads at the back. Best chance to score is a late run from midfield.
With this new rule where the ball comes into play before leaving the area we seem to be taking even more unnecessary chances tippy tappying at the back - around the penalty spot I can't see the point in that personally, just invites pressure.
Ave we ever gone through pre-season without once fielding our real starting 11? So a decent win from some of our first team earlier so wonder what our starting 11 will be next week. A good chance we get a better performance Oh and Bristol City are 5-0 down to Palace so far, so all isnt bad yet
Where from a goal kick the keeper can just pass it to a teammate inside the area (doesn't have to leave the area for the ball to be in play)
Bamford should have gone for goal himself there instead of pulling it back for Pablo, lack of bottle in my opinion
