By the time it's built they'll have the biggest stadium in League One.

Honestly, joking aside, I think it looks a fantastic stadium from the mock ups and happy that Everton are getting such a nice place.

I just hope that Goodison doesn't get infested with immovable squatters, like their first stadium.

As I recall, Everton got kicked out of their first place because they couldn't afford the rent .

We refused to pay the rent increase so moved to Goodison, which allowed the spawning of Satan.

If you only paid a little more you wouldn't have to deal with us today. <laugh>

Looks really good. Good for Everton, always had a soft spot for them.

A more scary way of putting it. If Everton could afford the rent, Liverpool would never have existed and I might have been an Everton fan today.

Why would that be?, the whole city will be better off when it's built, the new roads, infrastructure and investment in the otherwise derelict area is a big plus for the city.
Plus if EFC purchase their own ferry they can bring the majority of their support directly over the river from Birkenhead and earn a few more quid.

    Win win all round.

No. The problem with Anfield is location. It can't be easily expanded where it is, and unless things have changed in recent years it could do with better infrastructure around it.

Being near the water will be a "cooler" location for Everton, but no, I wouldn't swap... Not that it really matters to me, I've not set foot in England in two decades now, I'm not likely to attend often. <laugh>

I do want a larger stadium though for the clubs financial strength.

As much as I like to make fun of them, I like seeing Everton do well. As long as they don't do better than us, I'm happy with them having nice things, doing well and having a shiny new stadium on the way.
