We've changed tack then..... we used to collect goalkeepers not its centre backs... I just wish with Eaves seemingly some way off pace that we would utilise a loan on an out and out striker and yes I know they're like rocking horse...
We seem to building a new relatively young team, the Allams seem to be looking to acquire talent that they feel will increase in value in the future. That said we look to be light up top numbers wise, even more so if Bowen moves on.
On the other hand, when you have 12 players leave the club at the end of a season, with owners having the track record that they have, and little stability at the club, and a growing succession of managers stressing the importance of getting business done early, there is naturally concern (call it clamour or whatever) for new signings.
Even if McGloughlin goes out on loan for six months, he's still likely to be available to play for us before MacDonald.
Who knows Kemps, I've given up hope either trying to second guess them or anticipate their departure!
MacDonald was a very strange signing , what's the latest on his health ? Is he ever going to play again ?
He had a bad injury = he was cheap. That’s literally the only reason we signed him. It’s why we sign a lot of the players we do, they’re injury prone.
Who was that right back we signed from Cork? I can't remember his name. Played about one game for us and then retired because of a career ending injury. Was it Cork?
