"Seagull" probably isn't the preferred term (or should I say the preferred tern) for birdwatchers, etc, but neither is it incorrect for lay usage. It's a synonym for gull. There is nothing wrong with saying "seagulls". English is a wonderful language where you can often use more than one word to describe something. I have no idea if he was dropped or where he is now.” The partner 100% killed/lost the pointless little runt (perhaps by accident) and made up that story in a panic when his wife found out. To be fair, if a dog is small enough to be taken by a seagull... It deserves to be taken by a seagull.
I went to look at a job on a roof and had some fun with sea gulls. I needed to get data plates on a load of air conditioning condensers which needed replacing and they were fairly near a nest. I got within 20 meters of it and they were actually dive bombing me! They would line me up and swoop down just above my head and then go round again! I came back with a colleague who I made hold a stick in the air so we could protect ourselves. I'm not a big fan although humankind won that battle!
Birdwatcher isnt the preferred term for people who watch birds either, I prefer either "Sad ****" or "Utter ***got". Either of those will do fine.
Get yourself a good high-powered air rifle mate and use them terminator slugs.. Trying to work and fighting Seagulls ffs, whatever will the pigeons be thinking..
