Good morning Matt Unless we incur anymore injuries or even make a significant signing that surely will be the team in Bielsa's mind & the right team imo! Starting favourites means nothing Welcome back Bryn
Morning all Really surprised we have seen no outgoing action this week .... so far, as we still have a way to go yet which could see us shed 30 heads. Nothing much happening in the transfer market and our dealings could well be done but somehow I doubt it. A bit sick that skint Birmingham managed to find £6m down the back of the settee to but the kid Sunjic we were interested in and offered £3m for. A luxury player though as would prefer to get the keeper situation resolved and the CB situation. Met Bryn a few times over the years at various footy games and even a darts event held at Bolton's hotel. Always good craic and he knows the club inside out and a bit of a statto. He likes a drink and a laugh too so will fit right back in
Morning Doc, Sunjic is a class player, but I thought we were only going to go for him if Phillips left?
WE bid either 2.5 or 3m for him a couple of weeks ago and his club rejected it. Sujic himself said he was proud that a club like Leeds came in for him but he had to concentrate on his existing club unless something else happened. So yes he would have replaced Phillips in the event he left but you cant have too many players like him and Sunjic is clever enough to play at 10 or anywhere in the middle
With barndoor Bamford as your lone striker, and with the juggler in the sticks, I think its quite safe to have Bristol City as a banker in your bets next Saturday
Morning all.. I think that is our best 11 apart from Roofe for Bamford and Ayling at his best for Dallas otherwise Dallas has been pretty sound there. Bamfords either going to miss a string of chances and have a tough season with the fans on his back from day 1 or he is going to surprise us all and bang in three. I’m going for the latter, hat trick hero
Good Morning to Matt and co from dull Bardsey thank goodness as I found it really stifling during the nightI am now looking to buy a fan! On the Gibson frontwhy not swap him for BKF pluS the cash we are about to receive from the sales of Taylor and Woods which I estimate to be £7m
