I think it looks great TBF. I know that for most the purpose dictates the design, but I think this looks architecturally impressive.
I thought the polar ice caps were melting and sea levels rising, I can already see the future, river gods, laughing satyrs and marble sea-horses emerging from the water.
I suppose with the new ground they can at least stick wind turbines in the Mersey to generate their electricity. Out of interest excluding single plastics how eco friendly was your new build?
Theres gunna be some nice grounds in 10 to 20 years ... the spuds stadiums the best by some margin now .
You see things emerging. Looking at those banks of water on three sides I see a fair few pissheads submerging most weekends. Stadium itself looks alright.
Their capacity is about 39,000 at the moment and they sell out constantly. Only one way to find out, but I wouldn't have thought that they'd have a lot of issues, as long as the pricing is sensible.
Big jump to 62 id be surprised 50 maybe but not 62 unles they inherit some plastic fans after a couple of top 4 seasons.. everton were a soft touch last season abd goodisons a one of the grounds you know will be a tough visit ... be sad to see it a thing of the past , but i suppose they are ambitious.
Looks pretty good, will have to get to Goodison at least once more though. Maybe this season actually.
