Spurs win the league? Hope this is a joke. I cannot see Liverpool winning the Europa League because they won't be in it.
I cannot see Spurs finishing any higher than last season. They have not improved despite breaking their transfer record. Their area of weakness was not in midfield it was in the wide forward areas. They have not addressed that. I think Chelsea have too much in that respect with Hudson Odoi and Pulisic. Pulisic is a different type of player to Hazard, he's far more direct. He'll suit Lamps style of winning possession high up the pitch. They aren't as good at the 'aggressive press' as Liverpool but then again nobody is. However Lamps did okay with it at Derby last season. They just didn't score enough goals. They hadn't got the out and out finisher that Norwich and Villa had. Villa had Tammy Abraham who Lamps has at Chelsea now.
Thought I was doing my predictions Didn’t realise I had to agree with everyone else I think Spurs will do well Just an opinion I also think we will be tired and go out of CL and in Europa where we will be one of the better sides I am confident on all of these apart from Sheffield Utd Could be Wednesday too
TBF, Chelsea are hard to call. Transfer ban, new manager, lost their best player, will have to adapt to a new style, etc
If Spurs win the league I will stab myself to death with a darning needle whilst soaking in a salt water jacuzzi. ... Probably. ... I might not really do that.
You have to be realistic though with your predictions. There is more chance of Gary Neville getting a standing ovation from the KOP than Spurs winning the league. Here are the reasons why. 1. They are managed by David Moyes with a Spanish accent. 2. Their star striker is an over-rated Arsenal reject who is nothing more than a poor man's Alan Shearer. 3. Despite a very good first 11, their squad is paper thin. They have no bench. 4. If they have less balls than women, heifers and Arsenal. 5. If they were a footballer they would be George Best. Extremely gutless. 6. They are pretty much like a blonde bimbo, half decent to look at but no substance. It's two horse race for the title and the real action will be the battle for 3rd and 4th with 6 teams with a chance, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Man United, Wolves and Leicester.
There are two chances of Spurs winning the league....slim and none. They actually need to appoint a manager who has actually won trophies. Mauricio 'What's a trophy" Pochettino doesn't qualify. He's won less than Moyes, that's why he's Moyes with a Spanish accent.
