They needed council permission so may be related to that....and as said perhaps it will be enlarged if successful. Suspect it will be full of parents forced to arrive early by their kids...expect crying kids who can't get in and blame their parents

Very unpleasant, but comes under the category of stupidity. Am surprised they were all middle-aged....otherwise I could add juvenile to stupidity....perhaps a bit of alcohol involved. My point being (and there is a point )... is that a lifetime ban would be too harsh. I would save that for violence and racism. These man are unlikely to repeat the offence.
Their goading and bad behaviour could have led to a reaction from Cardiff and saints fans which could of led to violence (but thankfully didn’t )..........but your are right Fran I believe alcohol was probably involved ....no excuse for supposedly grown men.
Be careful! I went to the NHS gym sessions after my op. Now I play walking football 2/3 times a week and cycle as well. Not sure I'm fitter but I get a better class of injuries. Some of them are self inflicted and some are from aggressive old men who still put it about, like they did 50 years ago. Before you say it we have a women's team as well. They are just as assertive as the men. Of course they are, they're women!

They must feel like complete ****ing morons, imagine being convicted of something like that ffs and having to explain it to a prospective employer. 'So what was your conviction back in 2019 for? 'I was upset we weren't winning a football match so mocked a plane crash.' Monumental bellends.
Alcohol or no Alcohol I really cannot imagine what was going through these guys heads at the time...........They obviously do not have the brains they were borne with. Making light of someone else's tragedy is beyond comprehension............You can't even classify them as idiots....as that would mean they had some intelligence.
