Rose + 60 Mill for Dybala However Another week is passing and Eriksen hasn’t put pen to paper. I’m not sure we want to go into that time frame where our window is shut and the rest of Europe’s is still open. Can see a lowball offer from the likes of Madrid and us ending up in a corner with no strings to pull. Maybe Eriksen + 20 mill for Dybala is on the cards. More than likely though, this is just us twisting Betis’s arm
Yeah, not happening. Besides after the season he just had, I wouldn’t wanna be splashing £90m+ either.
I don’t get why we’d be showing interest in an 80-90m player if we were just trying to get Betis to lower the Lo Celso fee though? That just shows we’ve got the money!!
I think because if Spurs feel they can get Dybala for £80m-£90m whilst Betis supposedly hold out for £65m-£70m for Lo Celso, it's more worthwhile pursuing the higher established player. I reckon we'll get Lo Celso for about £55m FWIW. They need the dough, especially after Fekir's signing.
Just a reminder, if Toby hasn't gone by 17:00 today then he is staying, hopefully Daniel Levy has hired CK's cave for the day .
This makes some sense. Levy is know for delaying signings so as not to get caught like this. Probably why Sessegnon etc. haven't come in yet. However, Lo Ceslo and Dybala play in slightly different positions, so I'm not sure if that tactic will work, if that's what is happening.
I think it's more about options and versatility for Poch rather than direct positions, if that makes sense? For instance, our CM with the addition of Ndombele now suddenly looks a lot better than it did last season as it now means Sissoko/ Winks won't be driven into the ground whilst hopefully Dier can avoid injuries and Skipp can feature more. If Lo Celso comes in and adds to that then even better, especially if we do switch to 433. Lo Celso an also play further in a CAM/ 10 role and I think he can play on the right too cutting inside. However if the links to Dybala are true, that then adds to options in the attacking areas meaning a choice of Son, Alli, Lucas and Dybala to flank Kane. He can play up front along side Kane, flanking him on the right or playing the CAM/ 10 role.

All I can say is that ITK was lucky we did get Ndombele over the line, because if that went tits up he'd have had a lot of ****ed off Spurs fans hunting him down...
This hack gossip by definition shows that Spurs are joining the elite, with the longevity of the gossip being the measure.
"Spurs have recently opened their £1bn stadium, much of which was paid for with loans. Despite that cost, in April they announced a world-record profit of £113m after tax for the 2017-18 season." And I am on record that it will be at least that for 2018-19. So I proposed new WHL repayment (interest + capital) of 50m pa. Which would now mean the club would have to take only 10m from existing per season profits to do so. The future is bright. The future is navy blue and lily-white.
One thing sticks out about the Dybala links: if it's not a none-too-subtle hint for Betis to stop mucking about, he can fit into a lot of roles in the team 433 - centre forward or right wing 442 diamond - centre forward or number ten 4231 - centre forward, number ten or right wing On the other hand, both Dybala and Lo Celso being linked surely imply that Lamela's time at the club is getting short considering he'd likely be demoted to third-choice on the right by one of those two arriving
