@gilesbutler Giles Butler @Amit_Bhatia99 look at the view from our season tickets - its disgraceful! @OfficialQPR & @tonyfernandes wont reply! http://yfrog.com/nto4kgj
we havnt scored at home yet so he hasnt missed anything and he can see the midfield build up perfectly well
Why buy season tickets there in the first place? You can see the vast majority of the pitch unhindered and just crouch down when the ball is down the School End anyway.
Great comment rrrrrs, pretty much sums it up. Joking aside, this is disgaceful. How can a Premiership side find this acceptable? I love Loftus Road, but this ( and many other similar seats ) proves why we have to have a new stadium.
When we fill the one we have we can think about it. Plenty of empty seats in P block the other night was poor imo.
I had an equally bad seat for games v sheff utd, derby and hull last season, but on half way line. I feel for the guy.
You can move your season ticket up to 4 times in one season without issue, i had a poor seat in SA road one season (bloomin dripping roof) and got it changed over the phone, just had to drop old season ticket in at box office
If you wonder why the ground is never full to capacity, this supplies the answer. If those seats were half-price you could say there was little cause for complaint as they are 'restricted view', but to pay the outrageous prices for a cramped seat with a view like that really takes the biscuit. Much as I love the atmosphere of Loftus Road, a new stadium has to be a priority if the club is to establish itself at the top level.
Watford R - I was thinking about this the other day. A lot of the tickets were not sold were in the lower loft which i believe is our Family stand. I believe all the tickets that went on general sale sold out, should the club reduce the size of the family stand that has not sold out ? Also should the club have a couple more bronze areas, for example P block. ?
I certainly think that the blocks next to the bronze blocks in the Loft i.e P and whatever is the equivalent on the other side, should be silver. Having the family area and the Upper Loft being members only is all well and good but I think they should both go on general sale if not sold out 72 hours before the game. I haven't sat in Ellerslie for a long time but I think all but the most central seats there should be silver too. I think it's a positive that we have a family area but, imo, it should be the West Paddock. The Lower Loft is probably a bit big particularly for a night game and it seems a bit silly to have a load of kids underneath P and Q blocks there if they're there because their parents are eager to avoid swearing.
MY mrs seat had no Bolts in the back, the plastic was just resting between the metal. I reported the issue 5 mins into the Bolton Game and the seat is still not fixed!
Totally agree that the loft tickets should go on general sale some time before the game. I'm looking at the Aston Villa tickets for Sunday week and it is indicating just tickets available in the loft , apart from 26 in block X. Can we maybe suggest this to the club in some way, i know it would not effect me personally but the atmosphere is so much better when there is a full house.
I think you might find that the west paddock is almost full of season ticket holders and has been for a few years now so before you suggest putting the family area in there please ask us first
I'm sure it is but it has to go somewhere and this would make the most sense in it is relatively cheap, by the pitch, away from any potential trouble and bad language, the kids can see the subs warming up which is nice for them and the West Paddock people can be moved to the East or Lower Loft.
It might make sense to you mate but i'm sure it wont make sense to all of us who have been in there for years (both seating and standing). I like the fact i am right on the pitch and have never liked sitting behind the goal. Where do you sit ?? Im sure you wouldnt mind being relocated would you ?? But if you dont like getting wet i would'nt choose the paddock
I take your point but presumably there were people who had been in the Lower Loft for years too. I'm just saying that if there has to be a family area the West Paddock is the best place to put it in my opinion. I sit in either the middle of SAR or the Upper Loft so
By 'outrageous prices' I assume you mean the pre-discounted, pre-refunded, pre-Fernandes prices. Just needs stating for clarity, as the prices are NOT necessarily outrageous, and none of us know what this bloke actually pays for his seat.
In fairness to Tony, he has replied to the guy asking him to send him an email and he will look into it.
