If it helps this type of competition is usually called ‘Last man standing’. If you look online there’s websites, apps etc that might make it clearer?
I see nobody has gone for Swansea yet. Go on then I’ll do it, Swansea. I’m either going to be over the moon with City getting off to a winning start or I’m still in the competition. Knowing my luck it’ll be a draw (which would not be bad for City).
Last season we had about 25 people in a last man standing...we each paid £10 per session.we ended up with three roll overs and the pot was over £700..problem came at the end of the season when there were only about 3 fixtures left. Main issues were when matches straddled the weekend and what to do about mid week matches.
- Fix the match week, i.e. Tuesday to Monday - pick one team a week or maybe 2 if their is a full midweek itinerary, to be set by the organiser.
The one I was in rolled over a couple of times and even over a summer break. Somebody won about £6k in the end.
