Yeah I went to Malaga on a stag last year and we got some villa just outside on AirBnB. We were there for 3 days and the Villa was pretty massive with a lot of grounds around it. Was only on the last day as we were preparing to leave that we noticed a caged off bit and this dog chained in there. Nobody had been to visit it for the 3 days we were there and it just had some dirty water and no food. We gave it a fair amount of water and food but could tell it was just used to being out in the sun all day chained up, was just what you wanted to see after a 3 day bender.
They’re absolute ****s over there. I used to think the running of the bulls was ok til I saw one. The bulls are locked in cages for about 3 days in blistering heat with no water before they do the run. During that time the locals all throw stones at them squirt lighter fuel on them and burn them, hit them with sticks etc. Then they let them run through the villages chasing people for fun. Now find it funny when folk get seriously injured doing them.
Yeah I didn't have it. Had it in Greece once and it was nice to be fair, well the meat inside was but the skin is horrible.
That goes a bomb over here when it's available, the Thai's love anything chewy like chicken feet and ducks beaks.
Had octopus in Curado. Was lovely. You should go there, I pretty much guarantee their tapas will be better than anything you get in Barcelona.
I have the octopus as tapas over there. They take slices of the tentacle. Where I have it they fry it in olive oil and garlic then whack loads of pepper on it. If they speak English find out how it’s served.
My father in law got a bit excited by the hot weather and drank two bottles of wine in quick time. He's long since been sent to bed by his missus.
