Just watched the full game tonight and was very disappointed with 'Stick Man' Fletcher (Whats his porn Tash all about btw!!!) Is Fletcher related to our Jamie Devitt by any chance???

Also thought Our wee man, Corey Evans brother was at fault for the Benfica goal, got turned far too easily.

Is it only me or do any of you, in particular the Man U fans think Johnny Evans is simply not good enough for Man U and should find his level in a Championship side? Never rated Johnny Evans and his Bro goes missing in games for us too in my opinion.

    Your thoughts please.

To make it City related, I have yet to see Evans Jnr have a good game.

Yeah me too mate. Not too sure what he offers most games.

No wonder Sir Alex got shut of him.

So Cory Evans is no good for us because SAF "Got shut of him"? Whatever that means.

Does that mean that Cam Stewart, "Dad" Chester and Joe Dudgeon are also not good enough?

SAF also got rid of Jap Stam, Andrei Kanchelskis, David Beckham and Carlos Tevez. Thank God we were never in a position to sign them either because they would obviously not be good enough for us.

Sir Alex doesn't "Get shut of" young lads like Cory Evans. He may well tell them that they will not make the grade at United but he will always do everything in his power to make sure the youngsters find good quality alternatives. We, as a Club, are a million miles away from Manchester United. Players who get as far as their reserve side are EASILY good enough to play for us. To say something as crass and unknowledgeable as you have about one of our VERY talented youngsters is rather disappointing.

No it does not mean he's know good for that reason just no good full stop IMO btw.

Cam Stewart is a different kettle of fish and this thread is not about Cam. He is a superb player.

DAD = Chester = What? Whats this Dad crap???

Dudgeon needs more time to grow into the player he believes he is. I think Andy Dawson is the better option at the minute, again IMO.

Your been very silly Strovolos, its not a case of comparing ALL Man U's cast offs, new and old FFS !!!

Calm down man. Its about Fletcher and Johnny Evans under performing as does Corey for us, Nothing more, nothing less !!!

AGAIN..This thread is NOT to compare City Players with Man U you Idiot, even I am educated enough to realise the two sides are worlds apart... For christ sake !!!

My only slating is of Man U's few that did'nt play that well tonight with a slight reference to Corey Evans as Bum Chinned Crab refers to also. Get down off your high horse !!! For crying out loud !!!

    Silly boy.

What does Crass mean exactly? Please educate. I'm a bit thick like that as you describe, lacking education you might say... Lol

Your opinion is that Corey Evans is a talented youngster, many may agree and many may disagree, it a matter of opinion and for that reason you should respect others as I have tried to yours before going for the Jugular !!!

Jonny Evans struggles when put under pressure, like last night, it was an interesting game to watch for me with the Man U defenders under pressure because of Fergies weakened team selection. I think when Vidic and Ferdinand are back he won't get another look-in, especially with the emergence of Jones and Smalling.

I think Evans will make it at United, but will be utilized as a squad player, similar to the way Wes Brown was used. Don't think he's good enough to be a regular in the First XI, but other than last season, he has looked pretty solid.

Evans, Park and Carrick never strike me as being good enough for a Man United starting XI, Fletcher was also poor last night, but he had a good season last season, the playing of all four last night cost them the win, but they'll be happy enough with the draw and they now have the first XI fit for Chelsea at the weekend.

I'm starting to think that Fergie bloke might know what he's doing.

The Carrick that played today isn't good enough for Man Utd, the Carrick that played the last 3 months of last season is. Park always shows up for the big games, and also seems to score important game winning goals. He has a lot more technical skills then most people give him credit for.

Park always works hard and can cause teams problems, but he makes a lot of mistakes, his first touch often escapes him and quite a lot of what he tries doesn't come off. Against the quality in the rest of the team, these mistakes are more noticable, he'd look more at home playing for a club like Bolton or Everton.

Evans on the other hand, would be my 5th choice centre back.

So how come he started last night?

I was very surprised SAF didn't start with Jones and Smalling.

Keeping Jones and Rio fit for Chelsea and Vidic is still injured. Simple really.

He's not too bad a centre half and once Ferdinand is finally too old he'll go up the pecking order. With Smalling such a good right back cover, maybe even to move out there permanently, he'll always be there abouts to come in at CH.

Has no-one told him yet? :emoticon-0116-evilg

I hear Pogba is off on loan to Burnley, we should give our old mate Warren Joyce a bell and see if we can get him to come to us instead.

If you check the statistics United hardly ever concede much with Carrick on, played average last night but Fletcher was appalling...

Fletcher had that virus didn't he, think it's taken a toll on him, saying that he did the business for Scotland the other week. Looking for his fitness I think. Park is a great pro and squad player and i think he wont be used as much now they have options with Nani, Young and Valencia back, Cleverley can play out wide too I would imagine.
