    I'm probably only slightly "concerned" if I have to fly anywhere, I once caught a flight from Newcastle to Belfast and the plane was so small (it may have been Gill Air before it folded) it was like sitting in the back of a transit van, now that was unnerving, we're talking seriously bumpy. :emoticon-0116-evilg

    I've never understood people's fear of flying. The acceleration at take off is class and statistically it's so much safer than pretty much every other form of transport.

    Ugh yeah those small planes are the worst. The slightest bit of turbulence is amplified about 50 times from normal jets.

    That is not entirely correct though, it uses Bernoulli's principle, but that does not explain how lift is generated and planes fly because it can't explain how planes can fly upside down or how planes can fly with flat airfoils or airfoils where the bottom is longer than the top.
