I’m fascinated by that seller that opens the card. No idea who will win it but will any horses be purchased / claimed (delete as appropriate) after the race???

Won’t be backing anything at the meet but I would have thought the most likely winner would be Jungle Secret in the ‘lucky last’ (5.40). Was a decent 2nd on his handicap bow, earlier in the month, and a mark of 57 looks more than exploitable re this one. Is also a half-brother to the very useful Alben Star (8 time winner who was peak rated at 109).

    Have a good day.

Nice course. Best to pay a bit extra for entry, but up to you.
Egan has gone up there for 2 rides for Channon. I'd keep an eye on them.

Nice course, hope it stays dry for you.

I see theres a big market mover in the 2nd, Petite Steps, in to 10/1 from 50 at time of posting. Early connections/stable money?

My main interest is in the 2 O'Keefe runners after You see posted tonight AirRaid which won again.

4.05 Saisons D'or at 8/1 and followed up by Desert Ruler in the next also at 8s. Singles and e/w double given the form he has his string in.

    Have a good day

I've only been once and really enjoyed it, nice place. Some decent pubs in town. Two I'll be backing are

    3:30 - My Reward 16/1
    4:05 - Zip 6/1

Failing that just back Danny Tudhope, battle for champion jockey looks like a two horse race between him and Murphy now.

    Enjoy your day

Was going to put My reward too- looks a stonking ew bet !! And again was going to say just follow Danny Tudhope you can’t go wrong! Especially because he is up there (i known he is based up north) but with some big TV races on you would think he would ride one or two on them (must mean Omearas horses won’t be winning else where then <laugh>)

I'd like to think that John Egan can make amends for his last ride on KOEMAN in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock (6 July), when he didn't give him the best of rides, making the decision to pull him out ON THE BEND 4 furlongs from home, then hard ridden and fell away a furlong out. . . . . the horse did well to finish 7th, and I think he's a great chance today at 5/1.
    Have a great day !

In the Irish Oaks I feel Star Catcher is the filly with more to come and she will prove hard to pass today. I have backed her on her last two starts and felt she was crying out for the 12F trip when 3rd to Queen Power. She duly went on to win the Ribblesdale and although this is a step up to Group 1 class Pink Dogwood looks a vulnerable favourite after defeat last time and I am not 100% confident that Iredessa is the sure thing at this trip that seems to be the consensus in several places. She was a surprise winner of the Fillies Mile at 2YO and probably campaigned at too short early in the season but until they win at 12F there is always a doubt.

Star Catcher has been supplemented at a cost of 40,000 Euros and the Gosden/Oppenheimer operation do not normally spend the money unless they feel confident. The stable are firing at about 29% and I feel that if Star Catcher can progress by 5 lbs from the Ribblesdale she will be the one to beat as an unexposed daughter of Sea The Stars.

5.10 Curragh Star Catcher 9/2 looks the bet to me.
