You're possibly closer to the truth than you realise. Got to remember that these are all very young lads. Doesn't help that they've not been given any assurances with this Brexit nonsense either, so possibly looking for the path of least resistance & sticking to what (& where) they know.

 

Story in the Midlands is that we have bid £7.5m for James Chester and Villa really need to sell because they've already spent over £100m

Saiz was bought for 3 and according to Phil Hay was sold for 2.5 yet a few others say 3.5 so guess we were unlucky not getting the 6 we were promised but at least we got rid and got some value and in most cases we have made a tidy profit on some of the kids like Wilks, Halme, Dalby etc and profit yet to come on Ekuban who will double the money paid for him just like Ideguchi too
