hmmmmmm i still would like to see him get a couple of games in a row there, if he plays horribly then off course i would hold my hands up, but i suspect he could surprise a few doubters.
As I stated in your original post regarding Richardson, I'm certainly not one of his detractors and think at times he gets some unfair criticism. However, you are making your judgement of his abilities based on what you have seen in a few games over a long period of time, while I and many other Sunderland fans on here, have seen him week in and week out over a long period of time. He has most certainly been at his best when he has played just behind the main striker, but even then he has only excelled on a couple of occasions. I hope you appreciate this honest and fair assessment.

I'm hardly a "mag-lover" I just think some of the random abuse they get on here is uncalled for... Tbf though perhaps the reason I can't completely appreciate the rivalry is because I'm not from the north east, I've lived in norfolk all my life and have supported sunderland as long as I can remember as my step dad, who moved in with us when I was 3, is a born and bred mackem. Just my opinion like, but it just doesn't make sense to me, to go into a discussion with the mindset "F*CK ALL THE MAGS", regardless of their contribution..

no i genuinely believe it and my opinion hasn't changed, although i appreciate the opinions of the majority who seem to disagree. like i said in the OP, if ben arfa was at left back i wouldnt suddenly consider him a bad player, i would wonder why the **** he was playing there.
