Saints fans do love a villain don't they? Chaz is just the latest in a long line that have fallen from grace with some supporters. You can tell from his after match rants that he lacks the emotional intelligence to keep his thoughts under wraps and lashes out when he is frustrated or feels wronged. I don't think he is a bad lad at all, just a little misunderstood atm.
I guess everyone knows we'll be facing J-Rod in our first match - I only just noticed he went back to Burnley!
I'd agree with that. Charlie might not be the most eloquent chap in football but i do believe he is a decent bloke and his heart is in the right place. He's just a bit pissed off that he's not part of the set-up. You never know he might be able to get himself back in the managers good books. I still think he's a good striker

People do sure like defending people multi millionaires they never met... See how it looks? All we can do is judge Charlie on what we see of him. Him acting a dick on Twitter etc doesn't really bother me but it is still dumb ****. Him getting mad drunk all the time and leadong younger players to do the same when he is a professional isn't a good look.

He wouldn't be the first pro footballer to go out on the piss and he's never done a Lee Barnard as far as I know. I've seen Peter Shilton dragged out of a nightclub by two bouncers before.
He isn't with us now, so doesn't matter. I only care about players playing for Saints. When a player gets drunk all the time, starts dumb **** on twitter, argues with the manager, leads a younger player to do some of the same. Then fans tbat pay a lot of money to go watch him play have the right to call it out.
You've had a personal downer on him for ages Beef, just like you had with Jose Fonte before he left. I don't really care too much about their personal lives.
I loved Lee Barnard. And his song. Wasn't the Concorde Club you saw Shilts getting slung out of was it?
I had a 'downer' on him as I witnessed him getting so drunk he would do dumb **** nearly every week. Add that to how poor he played for us most of the time, while being a heavy drinker. Fonte was again because of how he started to cause **** with the team. Same with when Lovren started causing ****. Me knowing people within the club means I will base my views on what I hear it isn't hard to understand... I didn't moan at Mane as he left the right way I support the club first and foremost so will call out stuff that harms it.
